Serve Alaska Director
Serve Alaska, in partnership with the Corporation for National and Community Service, brings AmeriCorps programs to Alaska. The Serve Alaska sub-grantees operate in almost every region of the state, bringing much needed support and training to rural and urban Alaska.
Serve Alaska also works with the National Service Inclusion Project to foster and encourage persons with disabilities to participate in community service.

Senior Corps Funding in Alaska
You’re invited to attend a community meeting to learn more about new funding opportunities for Senior Corps programs in Alaska! A Notice of Funding Opportunities will be released in early June for the Foster Grandparents tutoring and mentoring program (over $400,000 in funding available) and the Senior Companions senior independent living program (over $175,000 in funding available). Any interested parties are encouraged to attend to learn more about these funding opportunities… 501c3 nonprofits, community agencies, city or borough governments, etc.Anchorage: Tuesday June 11th from 10am-noon
