How to obtain copies of documents on record
- Online: Most documents on record are available online to view and print immediately at no charge. To search for an entity click Search Corporations Database. You may search by the entity name, entity number, officer name, or registered agent. On the Entity Detail page is a list of Filed Documents. If online viewing is available select “Click to View” next to the document to view and/or print. If the online viewing option is not available you will need to submit a hardcopy Copy Request form along with the appropriate non-refundable fee. See below for more information on how to submit a hardcopy Copy Request along with the appropriate filing fees.
- Hardcopy: To request hardcopy uncertified copies of documents on record you may complete and submit to the Corporations Section a Copy Request form along with the appropriate non-refundable fee. Processing time is 10-15 business days upon receipt in this office.
- $10.00 non-refundable fee for each document requested.
- $30.00 for all documents contained in one entity’s file up to 50 pages and $1.00 per page for each additional page above 50.

- What is a Certified Copy? A Certified Copy is a certificate from the State of Alaska which states the attached copies of the requested documents are a true copy of the records on file with the Department and the Division. To request a Certified Copy, select this option on the Copy Request form and submit it to the Corporations Section along with the appropriate fees. Processing time is 10-15 business days upon receipt in this office.
- $5.00 non-refundable fee for each Certified Copy Request. This fee is in addition to the Copy Request fee.

- What is an Apostille?
An Apostille is a notarized certificate from the State of Alaska which states the attached copies of the requested documents are a true copy of the records on file with the Department and the Division. When requesting an Apostille you must list the country the Apostille is being requested for. To request an Apostille select the option on the Copy Request form and submit it the Corporations Section along with the appropriate fees. Processing time is 10-15 business days upon receipt in this office.- $25.00 non-refundable fee for each Apostille. This fee is in addition to the Copy Request fee.
