An entity may update its physical and mailing address at any time. To modify the entity’s mailing address send a request to the Corporations Section email with the following information:
Please note that this update will only apply to the entity’s address and not the registered agent address or the officials’ addresses on record. To update the address for the registered agent, you must complete a Statement of Change of Registered Agent/Address, available on the Forms and Fees page of our website. A $25.00 fee is associated with the filing.
To send a request to update the entity’s mailing address, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Standard processing time is approximately 10 to 15 business days. The change of address will be available to view on the entity’s online record. Check the record by searching the entity in the Corporations Database on the Corporations Section page.
After you have updated your address with the Corporations Section:
If you have a business license, the Corporations Section recommends you to go to Business License Section and click Search Business Licenses to check the following: address on record; status; and expiration date of the business license.
If you have a professional license, the Corporations Section recommends you to go to the Professional License Section and click Professional Licenses Search to check the following: address on record; status; and expiration date of the professional license.
