Alaska Broadband Office

The Alaska Broadband Office (ABO) is responsible for managing the State of Alaska’s federal program responses to the Digital Equity (DE) Act and the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program. These programs will bridge the digital divide by providing grants to eligible parties to build out broadband infrastructure and increase capacity for unserved and underserved Alaskans. Highlights

DCCED Marketing and Economic Development Initiative

The Governor’s FY24 budget included funding to support an initiative to market Alaska and promote the social and economic opportunities in the state. DCCED will work with a qualified offeror to develop an initial marketing plan and advise on strategies to effectively market Alaska.

80th Percentile Repeal

The 80th percentile rule was a Division of Insurance regulation requiring insurance companies to pay out-of-network claims no lower than the 80th percentile of charges for the geographic area in which services are received. International Trade Assistance Grant (ITAG)

With funding from the Small Business Administration, DCCED has launched a new grant program to assist Alaska-based small businesses with exporting activities. Visit our International Trade Assistance Grant (ITAG) page to learn more.

Alaska SBIR/STTR Grant Program
